In March, we had the pleasure of listening to Penelope Engard, President of the Historical Society in Hemet, speaking about Women of the Wild West. Several names come to mind when we hear that topic, such as Calamity Jane, Lola Montez, Cathy Williams, Nellie Cushman and Annie Oakley. Well, since March is Women in History month, we've invited Ms. Engard back because she makes our history come alive.

What a beautiful general meeting in February! The Educational Foundation Committee certainly deserves a round of applause. Our speaker Dr. Karen Wilson, was wonderful. Our named gift honorees deserve the honor for their tireless service to women and girls. Jane Roberts, Leslie Priest, and Judi Jones each provide unique knowledge and abilities that support our branch of AAUW.

The Math Science Committee has worked hard. Thank you all for volunteering your time and talents to this Branch activity. We can't do it without many, many hands.
