50 year anniversary for the Foundation! We provide fellowships and grants to woman for education, research and community programs. The Redlands branch raises funds through donations, an annual theater party, yard sale, and cutlery sales. DID YOU KNOW? |
Local Scholarships Presented

Our branch provides local scholarships to women who have some previous college experience but whose schooling has been interrupted and now wish to continue their academic pursuits. Funds for the scholarships are raised at an annual yard sale and renting books on tape (offered at our monthly meetings). Rent a CD for $5 a month at the branch meeting. | Thurs. Nov. 10, 2011 Theater Night Benefit |
The Educational Foundation (EF) committee starts its 2011-12 fundraising season with a theater night at the Redlands’ Footlighters. This year’s production is Flemming (An American Thriller) a spoof by Sam Bobrick. Please join us for a Wine and Cheese Reception in the Footlighters Courtyard from 6:30 p.m. Theater starts at 8 pm. Tickets purchased ahead from our Branch are $18 or at the door for $20. The profits are applied to the Redlands International Fellowship that provides support for scholars from foreign countries to do doctoral research in the U.S. Volunteers help at the play and there will be drawings for gift baskets donated. |
| Tech Trek Science Camp Scholarships | Tech Trek is sponsored by AAUW California. The girls live in a dorm on a college campus, attend classes and participate in field trips. Our Banning/Beaumont Pass group raises funds and sends several local young women. Click here to read more... |
| Our News June Garage Sale 2011 |
The committee for the Local Scholarship Yard Sale would like to thank all of the 2011 members that helped sort, price and work the yard sale. For next year, plan ahead: make sure you keep your items at home for our June 2012 sale! The bottom line is that this event wouldn't be such a success without the donations that make it all possible. |
