AAUW Mission

AAUW, founded in 1881, is open to a) all graduates with a baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university to join as association members, and b) student affilitates to join when they are enrolled in a regionally accredited educational institution.

In principal and in practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barrier to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability.

The purpose of this branch is to unite graduates of regionally accredited educational institutions in order to promote equity, education, intellectual growth, individual worth, and development of opportunities for women and girls.

We meet monthly to share a meal, fellowship, and interesting programs. The Program Committee present fascinating speakers on current topics. Our local participating educational institution is the University of Redlands.
